Canadian Community Organizations

CWY also partners with numerous not-for-profit and community organizations in Canada as part of its Youth Leaders in Action program. Youth volunteers in this program spend three months in Canada volunteering for organizations that offer services to the local community. Over the years, these organizations have included homeless shelters, food banks, youth clubs, environmental conservation centers, meals-on-wheels services, schools, assisted living centers, divisions of local government and many more.

In 2012-13 alone, 627 youth from Canada and abroad volunteered for 3 months in the following Canadian cities:
