CWY at Back to Batoche

As one of the sponsors of the 2014 Back to Batoche Festival, CWY  participated in the activities over the weekend. CWY Chair, Colin Robertson, President and CEO Rita S. Karakas, and the Director of Aboriginal Programs, Arnold Blackstar, were all in attendance.

CWY Chair, Colin Robertson, Metis Nation of Saskatchewan President, Robert Doucette, CWY President and CEO, Rita S. Karakas, and CWY Director of Aboriginal Programs, Arnold Blackstar spent some time together at the Back to Batoche Festival.

The 2014 Festival honoured Metis Veterans as the first monument in history erected at the Batoche Cultural grounds.

Colin Robertson and Rita S. Karakas presented a gift to President Doucette on behalf of CWY.
