CWY at Inuit Circumpolar Conference

Canada World Youth President and CEO, Rita S. Karakas, and Director of Aboriginal Programs, Arnold Blackstar, attended the Inuit Circumpolar Conference (ICC), July 21-25, in Inuvik. Talks on resource development, business partnerships and wildlife conservation were on the agenda at the 2014 general assembly. ICC is mandated to provide a collective Inuit voice on issues affecting its peoples from Canada, USA, Russia and Greenland.
