CWY presents its trilateral entrepreneurship program in the Americas

Vlad Gomez, Program Manager and three youth volunteers in CWY’s trilateral entrepreneurship program, José Vásquez, Rosario Avendaño and Rosario Quispe, delivered a successful presentation at the annual IVCO Conference yesterday, Oct. 21, 2014. Their presentation illustrated the effectiveness of peer learning approaches to develop essential skills and develop technical skills that allow youth to thrive despite the current global unemployment crisis. These youth from Honduras, Nicaragua and Peru shared with the audience how international volunteering can equip youth to be agents of change and improve the well-being of their communities.

The IVCO Conference gathers every year heads of volunteer organizations and delegates from public, private, academic and NGO sectors around the world to discuss key contemporary issues in international volunteering and development, and share best practices.
