International CWY Partner Program Visit

Thirteen representatives from eleven international Canada World Youth partners have been invited to participate in a Program Review Visit to Canada. From November 9th to December 3rd, they will assist in and participate in a series of events organized in 21 communities across the country.

Their visit will include:  A day in  Ottawa where one representative from each partner organization has been invited by Mr. Colin Robertson, Chair of the Board of Directors and Ms. Rita S. Karakas, President & CEO of Canada World Youth to attend a breakfast bringing together members of the diplomatic corps and our overseas partners.; A Knowledge Sharing Meeting (KSM); and over 20 Public Engagement Visit (PEV) where partners will visit different host communities across Canada.

A Public Engagement event is being organized by each Youth Leaders in Action team and will represent an opportunity for partners and our organization to greet community officials, Project Supervisors, youth volunteers, host families and other community members. In some host communities, the partners will also be accompany by a CWY representative in an Alumni event organized by the organization.
