CHINA-CANADA YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAM

Are you looking for study and/or volunteer opportunities abroad?  Do you have an interest in learning Mandarin and living in China? If so, you might be just the person we are looking for! Canada World Youth is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals like you to be a part of our first China program offering since 2009.  As a China-Canada Young Leaders Program Volunteer, you will spend 13 weeks at East China Normal University in Shanghai learning Mandarin and learning about China, followed by a 4-week community service project during which you will have an opportunity to teach, in English, one or more subjects that you have identified as subjects of interest to you and to Chinese primary or middle school students.

You are between the ages of 19-35, have completed 2 years of undergraduate study, you are looking for a 4-month opportunity overseas and you are passionate about learning a new language and learning about China. You are looking for an opportunity that will offer both personal growth and will give you a professional boost.
