Canada World Youth’s visit to Chinese Embassy in Ottawa

Chairman of the Board of Directors of Canada World Youth (CWY), Mr. Rob Norris, along with President and C.E.O. of CWY, Ms. Rita S. Karakas, met last night with China’s New Ambassador to Canada, His Excellency Lu Shaye, at the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ottawa to bolster Canada and China ties.

East China Normal University (ECNU) and CWY have partnered to create the China-Canada Young Leaders Program. This new 5-year program, aimed at Canadian students interested in an innovative study abroad experience, provides opportunities for Canadian students interested in combining educational study with a volunteer service learning placement. The first group of Canadian students will be leaving for China in early September 2017.
