June is Leadership month at CWY!

We are excited to share with you that June 28 will mark the announcement of this year’s CWY Youth Leadership Award winners!

Three awards will be presented to CWY alumni to recognize outstanding young leader’s involvement in transforming communities:

  • Outstanding Indigenous Alumni Award (up to age 35)
  • Guy-Bordeleau Outstanding Overseas Youth Alum Award (up to age 35)
  • Guy-Bordeleau Outstanding Canadian Youth Alum Award (up to age 35)

The Jury, chaired by the Honourable Christian Paradis, member of the CWY Board of Directors, was truly inspired by the nominations received this year and the leadership actions and innovative thinking these engaged young CWY alumni from Canada and around the world demonstrated.

As a lead-up to the announcement of the laureates on June 28 through our social media networks,  we will be highlighting alumni and their views on leadership, where they are now and what they have accomplished. So please join us on Facebook and Twitter this month to celebrate our alumni’s achievements!

Stay tuned to be inspired!
