EQWIP HUBS: Propelling youth forward!
CWY is now accepting applications for EQWIP HUBS, the next big innovation in youth international development.
From mentoring a new generation of youth entrepreneurs in Tanzania to facilitating ground-breaking employment training in Bolivia, the EQWIP HUBs project is reimagining global volunteering to meet the real challenges youth face today.
Powered by two of Canada’s leading global youth development organizations, Canada World Youth and Youth Challenge International, and a network of global collaborators, EQWIP HUBs’ provides a platform for youth – especially women – to advance their lives and find meaningful employment through market-driven work skills and entrepreneurship programs. It gives young Canadians aged 21-35 the opportunity to live and work in Bolivia, Ghana, Indonesia, Peru, Senegal or Tanzania on 3 to 12 month placements.
Our volunteers apply their skills – and develop new ones – while gaining valuable career experience. Once they arrive, they work side-by-side with EQWIP HUBs staff and partners to offer the specialized training and support needed to help local youth launch a career, or business. Fueled by collaboration and buoyed by the spirited pulse of youth, each volunteer plays a key role in reaching our goal: propelling 100,000 youth forward by 2020.
APPLY TODAY! We’re accepting applications RIGHT NOW for numerous volunteer placements. The EQWIP HUBs Team works closely with potential volunteers to find the right position, in the right country, for the right length of time. Applicants go through a personalized interview and placement process and qualified volunteers are assigned to the countries where their skills are most needed.
